Know the exact month your JDM dream car becomes legal to import.
The US 25-year exemption counts from a car's build month, not its model year. We track the production windows for 40 JDM icons, from the EK9 and DC2 to the R34 and the Nismo specials. Every date is sourced, and anything uncertain is flagged.
What unlocks next
The countdown runs to the first day after the build month turns 25. By then every car built in that month is 25 or older. A car built early in the month clears sooner.
